For some reason, I think it's helped that I was wide awake when it came on. Me half asleep would never be able to make out what was going on.
And it was odd that even though I didn't know the characters that well, seeing them with doppelgangers was still hilarious. Heck, it might have been more hilarious, because why would you copy any of those people?
